A Different Perspective on Pharmacy Benefits

My perspective on pharmacy benefits is grounded in a simple idea: the business model should work for the organizations and people it serves. Understanding PBM economics and financial arrangements is essential—but so are transparency, accountability, and alignment of incentives.

I believe the future of pharmacy benefits depends on four essential principles:

• Complete financial transparency
• Alignment of incentives between PBMs and plan sponsors
• Accountability through accessible, auditable data
• A relentless focus on improving outcomes while managing costs

Whether speaking at industry conferences, advising organizations, or engaging with industry leaders, my goal is to bring clarity to a complicated business and help stakeholders make better-informed decisions.
